Moving right along… This weekend should be great for you Columbia area Analog Lunar-tics. I promise to never call you that again….maybe. Anyhoo, Analog Moon will be appearing not once, but twice this weekend in the capitol city. On thursday night, we will be eating pizza pies and playing your favorite Analog Moon songs at Mellow Mushroom in the Vista (more on this later). Friday night will be spent recovering, but saturday we will return to the Vista to play a set supporting The Dave Britt Band at Art Bar.
So last night at rehearsal we thought and thought, “How can we set the two shows apart? They are within a city block of each other with only two days between them. Hmmm. The Mellow Mushroom show shall be unplugged!” We stayed up all night (or ’til we got hungry) arranging acoustic versions of our songs. We are very excited for you to hear the fruits and veggies of our labor, so come join us for an intimate evening with Analog Moon as we turn the lights down low and sprinkle parmesan cheese on the night.

Come to Art Bar Thursday night. Seriously, you really shouldn’t miss this. Aside from the monster rock hour we’ve planned for you and The Dave Britt Band and A Decent Animal, we’ve also got some new goodies to bring along. As you can see from Rusty’s artsy fartsy photo on the right, we’ve baked a fresh batch of EPs to give out. And that, my friend, can take forever. Only two will fit in the toaster oven at a time. We’ve also just received our first shipment of t-shirts. Unlike the home-cooked EPs, they will not be complimentary, because while music is sometimes free, looking this fantastic is not. We will, however, be bringing along an assortment of colors and sizes from which to choose, because we’re all-inclusive and non-exclusive….and redundant.
In other news, since our last update, we’ve begun recording our first full-length album. We have no details as of yet, but there will be familiar and unfamiliar sounds all squished together to form something very different and hopefully extraordinarily spectacular. We’re very excited about it, and we hope you are, too. We won’t be taking any time off from playing out to record. In fact, we are actively searching out gigs as I write this. Cale Johnson is our booking agent, so if you have any tips, email him at
